Attraction information

The Masters Putting Course is highly maintained for the enjoyment of adults and children of all ages.
Small children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Masters Putting is a seasonal business open mainly within the School holidays and fair weather.

Maintenance and Operation

All facilities on this site are maintained to the highest possible standard and checked on a daily basis for defects.

Food Safety Hygiene

Masters Putting does not sell food or drinks to the public. If food or drinks are consumed on our site, we accept no liability for catering standards or hygiene. The bins on site are emptied regularly and litter collected when required.

Attraction Staff

All our staff are trained to be competent and trustworthy and also understand the nature of the business. Our staff are based in the hut situated at the beginning of the course, and are only permitted to exit the hut to retrieve the golf balls from the19th hole, this is for security reasons as there is only one member of staff working at any one time.

Security and Child Supervision

Our staff are available to help but children always remain the responsibility of the adult who accompanies them, there are many warning signs for hazards all around the course and this is down to the individual playing the course to take note, not of our staff to educate them.

Within the hut, there is a direct telephone number for the police, also a panic alarm button if there is ever an emergency. The staff have a  microphone that can be heard throughout the course to alert players if required.

Weather protection

Please dress for the changeable British weather. There is not a great deal of cover around the site so please be prepared for rain or sun, dress accordingly and bring suitable sun protection, wear sensible flat footwear to cope with undulations of the course. There is limited outdoor seating and no umbrellas are provided.


Toilet Facilities

There are no public toilets provided on the site, there are council toilet facilities nearby


Slips / Trips / Falls / Bangs / Disabled Access

The course contains uneven terrain and moving obstacles which make the course enjoyable to play, but this can lead to injury if you trip or fall. Please take care on the course, players do so at their own risk. Children under the age of eight years are not permitted on the course unless accompanied by an adult. Furthermore, people with visual impairments are to be accompanied at all times due to the potential of injury as there are many warning signs that need to be read and understood throughout the course. There is wheel chair access throughout the course on the grassed area.
Some of the pathways and playing surfaces may be wet even in fine weather.


Outdoor Lighting

There is no outdoor lighting provided as the course closes prior to sunset.

Golf clubs


Golf clubs in the hands of young children can be a hazard unless properly controlled and supervised by a responsible adult. Appropriate size of club are given to every child, supervision of all children is essential at all times.
Crazy golf is a game of putting!  All players particularly children should refrain from hitting the ball excessively hard, thereby causing a hazard to themselves and other people around them. The Masters Putting Course staff reserve the right to remove any clubs and balls from any players playing unacceptably and request that they leave the site.

Unruly Behaviour

Any poor behaviour is not acceptable and the staff at the Masters Putting can refuse to serve any person acting in a poor manner.

Alcohol
Alcohol is not permitted on the site.

Smoking

Smoking is permitted on the site as the whole premises is outdoors, we ask you to act respectfully towards other customers. Please discard your cigarette ends responsibly.

Dogs

All dogs are permitted onto the site but must be kept on a lead and any fowling must be picked up and disposed of in the bins.

Electrical switch gear and Controls Equipment


All such equipment is secured away from the public, either within the obstacles or within the hut.

Water Hazard

The course has many water hazards no more then 20mm deep, please refrain from standing in those areas, as there is potential for a slip.

Windmill

The crazy golf course features a windmill with rotating sails, there is warning signs on the windmill itself and on sign boards throughout the course. The sails themselves have a slip gear system, that ensures the sails stop when touched or obstructed. The footpath should be followed to bypass the sails safely (do not cross the raised uneven cobbled area on each side of the windmill - sails).

Watermill

The Crazy Golf course features a watermill, which rotates. A slip gearing system ensures the mill stops when touched or obstructed, do not permit children to play with this facility.

Wet Floors

In wet weather, the course will be closed, but any water on the course will be squeegeed off but can still be slippery.

First Aid

There is an accident logbook and first aid kit located in the hut. The staff have basic first aid knowledge, there is a telephone within the hut that a member of staff can use to contact the emergency services if required.

Lost Children

Should you lose contact with a member of your family or party, please contact a member of staff immediately, and they will render all necessary assistance.
